The idea and concept of URANIA LAMPS was created by Martin Schlögl.
Manufactured by hand in Braunau / Inn, Upper Austria by Peter Schlögl, URANIA LAMPS are made of stainless steel parts (NIROSTA), which are used in the production of water treatment tanks. The lamps are set in rotation by a disco ball engine. URANIA LAMPS meet European safety requirements for technical devices (CE-mark).
Peter Schlögl is an approved welder and engineer. He realised art sculptures e.g. for Richard Deacon.
Martin Schlögl is a musician and designer. He lives and works in Vienna.
